Not for me personally the promises of “one lady driver” and “only driven lightly on weekends”, because I am older and smarter and understand since these apparently innocuous phrases are actually code for “boy racer, clutch will drop out when you go back homeInch and “tyres are seriously thinking about toupees”.

I understand that you will find honest private traders available, but finding them may be the luck from the draw. Unless of course you are extremely fortunate there’s often a catch to each used vehicle, regardless of how promising it might appear and just how firmly you boot the tyres. How come I carry on for used models?

They are cheap, they will not depreciate using the startling alacrity of new and, let us be truthful, there is something comfortable in regards to a second hands vehicle which makes you are feeling instantly comfortable. Although a completely new vehicle is fine and dandy it’s really no fun although you are breaking within the driver’s chair, and before long that new vehicle smell will just make your wheels spin.

To prevent the dross I only purchase from specialist second hands vehicle shops.
